Diluted calico kitten specimen
Preserved Diluted calico kitten, resting in an antique drugstore apothecary jar from the 19th century.
This kitty passed away from FKS ( fading kitten syndrome). She was the smallest in her litter, passing at only 4 weeks old. She’s a diluted calico, meaning her pattern consists of gray, white, and orange. She’s housed in an authentic, 19th-century hand-blown drugstore apothecary bottle with a hand-ground glass stopper.
NOTE: Jar is very old and has minor chipped spots on the outside glass.
